Opera and Castles Festival, 27 June to 26 July 2026
Following a 2025 season centred on the theme of love, Andrei Chevtchouk is delighted to present the twenty-fourth edition of the Opera and Castles Festival with a light-hearted new programme.

Saturday 27 June at 8.30 pm at the Chapelle des Cordeliers in Crest: recital ‘Les bois magiques’ for oboe, bassoon and piano with Aurore Simon (oboe), Alexandre Carpentier (bassoon) and Andrei Chevtchouk (piano), in partnership with the Friends of Old Crest.

Wednesday 1 July at 8.30 pm at the Parc du Bosquet in Crest: concert ‘C’est la fête au quartier!’ featuring the ‘Les Colombes’ choir from the Crest Social Action Centre and participants in the festival’s singing masterclass, held from 29 June to 2 July under the direction of Andrei Chevtchouk. Free admission.

Thursday 2 July at 8.30 pm at the Temple de Crest: recital ‘Carte blanche to young talents’ featuring the participants of the singing masterclass and a special guest appearance by Frédéric Lamantia, organist at the Temple de Crest and president of AMOTEC (Friends of the Temple de Crest Organ). Voluntary donations welcome.

Friday 3 July at 6.00 pm at the Domaine Peylong in Suze-sur-Crest: Operetta recital in the wine cellar with Maroussia Thauvin (mezzo-soprano) and Jonathan Pilate (tenor). Dinner and wine tasting after the concert, by reservation only.
 
Thursday 9 July at 9.00 pm in the Tour de Crest: Donizetti’s *Don Pasquale* featuring Jean-Baptiste Dumora (Don Pasquale), Jeanne Mendoche (Norina), Florent Karrer (Malatesta), Joseph Kauzman (Ernesto) and Andrei Chevtchouk (conductor and piano). The opera will be performed in its entirety on the covered terrace at the top of the Tower. 

Friday 10 July at 9.00 pm in the Simone Signoret Hall in Livron: second performance of Donizetti’s *Don Pasquale*. The performance is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Sunday 12 July at 9.00 pm in the courtyard of the Crest Music School: third performance of Donizetti’s *Don Pasquale*. The performance is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Sunday 26 July at 6.00 pm at the church in La Répara-Auriples: family concert (violin, piano, vocals) with Elena, Céline and Andrei Chevtchouk. Donations welcome.
